Pune : MIM Lok Sabha prospect Anis Sundke has declared that a memorial to Tipu Sultan might be built in Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP City Unit President Dheeraj Ghate mentioned, “We will not likely allow the memorial to generally be built on Pune’s land beneath any situations. We are going to lodge a police complaint in this regard.”

Ghate stated, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is attempting to push a wedge amongst two communities by raising the memorial situation website in the elections. some individuals tried to celebrate the birth anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We won’t make it possible for this to happen at any Expense.”
Ghate mentioned, “Pune is recognized as a cultural centre. several historic personalities were associated with it. Tipu Sultan wasn't a fantastic leader. He killed 1000s of Hindu men and ladies.
